Garth Cook Spring/Summer 2013-14 Stand Alone Show

I do recall mentioning in my post covering WAFA, only a week ago, that I had now come to think of all Perth fashion events as being synonymous with stifling heat. Why I didn't listen to myself is beyond me - why did I make the silly decision to wear a black leather tee and pants in the ridiculous heat last night?!

Any way, last night wasn't Mother Nature's time to shine - Last night was all about Garth Cook. Garth showcased his SS 13/14 collection - entitled VRH - to the Perth fashion pack (and some imported guests like Lara Bingle and the Vogue Australia team) on a  long, tree-lined runway tucked away behind the Terrace Hotel. The collection took us on quite the journey - from a slinky, pastel hued summer holiday, to a futuristic, holographic night out on the town. I still can't keep my mind off those gorgeous sorbet coloured dresses and those faux crocodile skin pants!

A huge congratulations must be extended to Garth and his wonderful team behind the scenes (that means you Sam tehehe), and to Jaqui and the Beautiful Events team for putting the show together.
